Review on 🔵 IPG PMD24 ProMask Blue - 14-Day Painter's Tape, 0.94" x 60 yd - Single Roll by Mark Young

I recently used up that roll of tape and started a branded roll (3M/Scotch Original) and found how much better Pro Mask is. 3M tape seems to be thinner and often tears when I pull it off the roll - not sure if it's weaker, thinner or stronger tack (maybe both). All I know is that Pro Mask was easier to work with. I should note that I don't use it for painting, I use it for temporary wall markings - I often mount/hang TVs, mirrors, shelves etc and use masking tape. Mark center points, studs, shelf heights, etc. without leaving pencil marks on walls. Usually the tape only lasts an hour or so or less. The tape sticks well, is easy to remove and rarely damages the paintwork (it's rare for some of the paint to come off with the tape, but in my experience it happens with any blue tape - probably due to cheap paint or lack of primer) . You may have a different experience when painting, but for my purposes this is the best blue masking tape I've used.
