Well I see what everyone meant.
I've come across some negative reviews about the lids on these cans but decided to risk it anyway. 2 cans out of 4 (17 cups and 8 cans) are perfect and give me no problems. The lid of the 12-cup canister is deformed and needs to be tightened with force. The 5 cup canister's lid was easy to close, but it had a too good seal, to the point where I broke a nail trying to remove the lid. I'm not sure if the lids warped in storage or if quality control just isn't important anymore, but I wouldn't recommend them.
