I have many stainless steel containers with similar ones sealing caps and it is the only container with a rubber seal and not silicone. The rubber seal is naturally spoiled by Gamsol alcohol. It hasn't swollen yet, so the reservoir is still not leaking at this point, but it's only been a few months. The gasket had to be silicone, not rubber like the rest of my stainless steel containers. there are only two latches and I know this from years of experience that they end up knocking so hard that one of them comes loose. If there are 3 or 4 it's ok, but if there are only 2 your container will never close again if one of them breaks. I would recommend that you pay a little more for a jar that has three seals and a lid with a silicone seal.
