I like 1/2" shank bits as they tend to be stronger and less likely to break. This works as it should, gives a nice even cut. The bearing works well, rotates as it should. Well packaged, with a thick coating. made of transparent rubber material to protect the racket. Another reviewer mentioned that it was rough, which makes up most of the beat. But like I said, that doesn't affect the cut, it doesn't touch. See this as a problem, I suppose it would be more work to make it smooth and add to the cost of the big one. But that's just me. Of course I can't say how long it will last, only use will tell the story. Will definitely update this if anything changes. I am very happy with this beat and would recommend it.
