Looks like this is just what I need for hanging Christmas lights in my gazebo. Powder-coated aluminum pergola. The paint is black and shiny. So far I have had six adhesion errors out of 30 applications. My wife and I applied the product on a sunny day when it was around 70 degrees Fahrenheit. We had very light wind and no cold weather yet. I am worried that the clutch will not work in winter. As a side note, the double sided sticky foam is white so we used a black Sharpie marker to paint the edges before installing the mounts. The cable ties appear to be of good quality.
