I love the concept of these tough toys, and for the most part it did last longer than most of our dog's toys. I see a design flaw in the mouth of the alligator though. That is where our dog found a weakness and started tearing it to pieces. He loved it even after he got the stuffing and all the squeakers out, so we continued to let him play with it until it was finally shred to bits. We bought him this at the end of January and threw it away last week. I will think of purchasing this brand again in the future, but I will look for a style that doesn't have the open mouth design.
