I donโt recommend this keyboard to anyone, in fact you take touch ID for an expensive price and it comes with a dummy keyboard. If it is really so important to have a sensor, then there is no choice, take it. I think that this device is a disgrace to apple and here's why: 1) The sensations from it are somehow ic, it seems to be very light and this is a plus, but for some reason I want it to be heavier, maybe a different key material. When you take it in your hands it seems that it is a toy. 2) The keycaps themselves are flat, unlike the keyboard in macbooks where there are small indentations, because of this, typing on a macbook is more pleasant for me personally. 3) This keyboard does not have any modern features at all, neither you switch between devices (even between apple products), nor the backlight like in macbooks, it is simply cut off. 4) The location of the keys, namely the arrow, is wildly infuriating, they feel like 3 large buttons, again in my macbook on m1 for some reason normal buttons. 5) Charging via lightning and not type c is also nonsense (they cook or something like half of the gadgets on type c half on lightning, as usual, leave a reserve for features in the future. There are no questions about typing itself, it is considered one of the fastest keyboards for typing, as well as working on a cord. and bluetooth no problem. Communication does not lose, lags are not noticed. I would advise you to buy logi mx keys mini instead, in which you will receive: 2 color options, backlit keys, the ability to switch between devices, recesses for fingers, etc., and at the same time it is also one and a half times cheaper. And I consider this keyboard a pruning of apple, as usual in the next versions they will throw 1 feature into it per year.
