It took my cats a couple days to warm up to eating their dry food out of this bowl, but it has been working out really well. My two cats both like it. And the food pools towards the bottom so there are no big donut holes in the middle of their dish after they eat-so they can't pretend their bowls are empty when they are not!I have tossed it in the dishwasher and it came out fine. Easy to hand wash for a quick clean as well.You do need to put a mat under it, as it does have a tendency to spill kibble onto the floor (or at least it does with my messy kitties). But I already had that covered, so I don't see that as a negative.I would absolutely recommend this (I bought a second one after my first and have no regrets).
