I have a 2005 v6 Mustang. This product is NOT compatible for the following reasons: (1) "locking tabs" do not lock the pump so you can easily reattach the retaining ring. You gotta keep it down This is NOT a one person job. (2) The sleeve supplied with this pump is TOO THIN. It will NOT be sealed like the factory. He's too skinny! I reused the factory as it is twice the size of this one. I learned this the hard way after seeing this fully installed pump pumping gas throughout the gas station as I filled up my tank. (3) It is not properly calibrated for my device. It said 1/4 tank when I was actually out of gas. Again, I discovered this the hard way after running out of gas on the side of the road and then filling up my tank with 17 gallons of fuel when someone rescued me and took me to the nearest gas station for fuel. (4) It is made very cheaply. Look, I understand a good fuel pump costs $400 and you get what you pay for. Just warning others that this pump is NOT worth what you think it will save you money. I bought an OEM Ford for $400 and now it's perfect.
