This is not the first laptop I've purchased from HP; in the past, I had a g6-1353er for quite some time that lasted for 9 years (!). And it was just recently that the battery started to fail, and there were also issues with a discrete video card, I also use newer models with 14 "and 17 screens," all of which require minimal maintenance (occasionally clean from dust, and do not put them in working condition on upholstered furniture with fabric upholstery / bed, otherwise they dust and thread fibers from it, as a result, they clog in just a week and thecomoler starts to workcomntantly). As always, a comfortable keyboard (no Fn key in place of the left Ctrl key and no on/off key in the upper right corner, which is typically where the Del or PgDn key would be), a good touchpad, and a good screen with rich color. It functions quickly (we are talking about a specific version with 1154G + 8GB + 512 SSD), and the cooler generates a reasonable amount of noise. The installation of Windows 10 did not result in any issues for me because I followed all of the steps outlined on the HP technical support website (): The installation did not start automatically at startup, so I had to press F9 and select the installation from the EFI file, specifying the path to the EFI folder on the flash drive. I created a bootable flash drive by using the Microsoft MediaCreationTool. I unpacked it onto the same flash drive driver for Intel Rapid Storage. I then proceeded to install Windows by following the same procedures that were provided on the HP website. Because installing the drivers is a little bit of an odd experience. yourun the setup file, the comnsole window opens and shuts rapidly, and nothing happens; however, all of a sudden, either a sound plays or the touchpad begins to function, but this is not a significant issue because. In the end, everything turned out the way it was supposed to. This is, in my opinion, the most attractive deal available in this category, and as a result, I heartily endorse it.
