I used this stool fairly regularly with no problems until it failed catastrophically. As he was putting the dishes on top of the cupboard, he suddenly and without warning collapsed and smashed. I fell back onto my island and broke two ribs. For context: I weigh 190 pounds (the stool is said to support 300 pounds) and coordinate intelligently so falling as hard as I did means it was an instant flop. I would never risk my safety or the safety of my family with any of them again.
