I have been using My Perfect Goatee (aka Goatee Saver) for several years now and it has become as much a part of my grooming routine as my toothbrush. I keep one in the bathroom and the other in my travel bag. In the beginning it took me a bit of experimenting to get the size and shape exactly how I wanted it, but since I've had it the goatee is light and strong all year round, even when I wear mine on the longer side ( 18mm). I use it in combination with a Remington Beard Boss trimmer and its attachments to keep the edges clean and long. a template that was crooked on my face. I solved the problem by disassembling the device (easily enough by loosening the screws on the side) and removing the mouthpiece entirely. I just press the modified template against my face with my left hand and shave with my right hand, no problem. This may be the solution for you if you are having problems with your mouthpiece for any reason. Unfortunately my old version didn't have a bottom rail which is now included so the hole at the bottom of the jig leaves a protrusion on my goatee which I then have to trim although it has become second nature. Try it - you will be amazed!
