I recently went snowboarding for the first time and was struck at how uncomfortable it was to wear sunglasses and an ill-fitting rented helmet. I immediately starting looking for my own set once I got home. As for sizing, my head measured right at 59 cm and the medium fits me perfectly. I like that the goggles clip into the helmet, ensuring they will stay put even when I frequently fall. The helmet and goggles are very lightweight, which I wasn't expecting. To be honest, I expected the helmet to be heavier and was initially concerned since I fall a lot when snowboarding and want to ensure my head is well-protected. The tag on the inside states that it's only for snow sport use, so I wouldn't use it for other things like skateboarding/biking where you might hit harder surfaces. The tag also states that it has CE EN1077 certification, which is a European certification for snowboarding/skiing helmets. It does not state any ASTM F2040 certification, which is an American certification that is slightly more rigorous (according to my light research).Overall, I like the helmet and think it looks nice. The interior has a soft velvet liner which is very comfortable. If you're looking for something comfortable and aren't worried about falling a lot, this might be a great option for you that won't break the bank!
