Rubber skirt to protect the bayonet from rain. Arguably the best lens for urban travel photography; good for food photography. It allows you to blur the background well when photographing close objects, and in professional photography, as you know, background blur is the most important thing. Some cons: On 5Dmk2, it was not possible to achieve the same focus when aiming at close objects and at distant ones. When you correct through the menu, you get either one or the other. When buying, I tried different copies, but the result is the same. In principle, you can live if you change the setting before macro photography or control it more carefully. Perhaps adjustment in the workshop is required - I have not had a chance to check it yet.
