DO NOT BUY OMIX ADA SENSORS - THEY ARE FULLY MADE IN CHINA CR*P!

DO NOT BUY OMIX ADA SENSORS - THEY ARE PERFECT AND COMPLETELY CR*P MADE IN CHINA! I bought 3 pressure gauges, all in the garbage! And not only did I lose what I paid for it, but I wasted days, 16 hours, and another $150 on my mechanic to diagnose and fix a faulty fuel gauge. AND 2 TEMPERATURE SENSORS HAVE NEVER FOUND. My 1986 CJ was a framed restoration - a beautiful show Jeep that my ex and I restored in 1995. I sold it and was ready to move to a new owner in July 2014. I wanted to give this to a customer with a working fuel gauge so I ordered a fuel and temp gauge OA kit from Revain. I have already replaced the 19 year old transmission in the tank even though my CJ has done less than 500 miles in the summer. Revain delivered the sensors quickly which was great as the buyer was very keen to travel with their new CJ. Replacing the gauge isn't too difficult, especially on a super clean refurbished CJ. 3 days later after my wife and I had spent HOURS and HOURS diagnosing why the new fuel gauge wasn't working and all the online troubleshooting guides for Jeep wiring (thanks John Strunk!) and Rugged Ridge"CJ REPLACEMENT FUEL AND TEMPERATURE SENSORS" Troubleshooting and instructions (which I had to pull off the internet - they can't even toss a piece of paper in a box) CJ went to the mechanic. They found that the new Omix-Ada sensor was defective, viz : THE FUEL SENSOR HAS NO FIBER SHIELD ON THE BACK OF THE SENSOR DUE TO ITS SHORT POSITION ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL MADE AND INSTALLED FIBER PANEL BADA BING CHA CHING CHA CHING another $150 worth And guess what, the jeep's new owner called me a few Weeks later with some follow up questions and told me the fuel gauge worked when he drove home and never worked again Also the new Omix-Ada Temper nature sensor did not work. MORAL OF THE STORY: BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU READ IN ONLINE REVIEWS - AVOID ALL OMIX-ADA JEEP JEEPS!
