The girls love it and so do I.
Chickens love it. I love them because they stay dry unlike straw which can easily mold. And because it sticks to itself, we don't fall out as easily as straw or pine shavings. This keeps the eggs from hitting the hardwood, which I add to the pine shavings to make it look a bit bigger. You can easily pull and move it after fluffing it up a bit when you put it in their boxes.
