Very robust. The reason they want you to install them on 70+ is because the heat will help them stretch without tearing when you attach them to the hood and slowly stretch until they snap into place. So I didn't unscrew anything, my friend and I used a camel sized crowbar to pry the cap of each clasp. Just remember to put masking tape where you work or use a rag to avoid scratching the paint. Unlocking the hood lock. I hooked the bar and then rocked it and slowly released it about 30 times at a time, held it for a few seconds and then let it squeeze. Then, at the end, just throw it to full lock. I didn't break it or fully unzip it, I just stretched it well first. Once I snapped it in I left it, I'll check it out at work tomorrow night. Now the hood seems to be very well pressed. I gave it 4 stars because I don't know what to expect yet, they seem so tight that they can break the hood latches.
