It's perfect just make sure you plan well and trim it right I could do better. It's easy to "install" and customize before doing the final finishing touches, and the results are virtually seamless. I have used window film to create a growing environment for my orchids and other plants that need filtered light and controlled heat. My plants improved within a week of changing the light and heat conditions, and of course the view of my neighbor's trash cans didn't go away either. Protective film is easy to measure and can easily be cut with a good pair of scissors. I decided to give myself about an inch of overlap around the edge of the window to ensure a tight fit against the window frame. Use a VERY SHARP, clean utility knife for trimming edges and change blades frequently. I've also found that waiting for the film to "fix" on the window a bit before it's finished makes the cut cleaner. The wet film moves during cutting, which was a little frustrating for me. Before buying, I recommend measuring the window. I bought 2 rolls for a 48"h x 60"w window. I had a lot of work, but my mistake was that I worked horizontally and had to collect viewpoints. Buy the right length for your project. In my photo, the shadow at the top of the film is my neighbor's fence, not the fault of the product and I apologize for the quality of the photo. I hope you still feel how happy I am with the Frosted film. Visually, the end result on my window is not perfect due to my incorrect measurements, but I am very satisfied as far as my needs are concerned. My orchids are protected and come back to life and I no longer have to look at my neighbor's trash. I would highly recommend this product for both privacy, looks and protection.
