Why is the handle so curved?
Strange. I expected the spoon part to be lower than the handle, but it is higher. I can't think of any reason why it should be designed that way. I had to bend mine down so it could be used for cooking on flat surfaces. In particular, I use mine to pour water into a cast iron pan to cool it and use the flat bottom to spread the dosa batter (South Indian pancakes).
