Review on 🦎 Zoo Med Repti Heat Cable, 11.5" Length: Optimal Heat Solution for Reptiles by Angela Johnson

WARNING: SAVE THE BOX, ALL PACKAGING AND WARRANTY INFORMATION FOR DEFECTIVE CABLES WHICH MAY BE ACCEPTED. Bought this 11 1/2ft 15W reptile heating cable in March 2018; Dead end end of June. Seems to have noticed that it can't heat for the past few weeks. I turned it off and tried a different outlet and found that the cord was definitely not working. I'm not sure when it actually stopped working. Pretty bad quality after max 3 months use. I didn't see any other complaints when purchasing, so I don't know if this is a single issue or not. Regardless, I'm going back to the company under warranty and have to wait 4-6 weeks for them to fix everything. The warranty says they will repair or replace. Honestly, who would want a company to 'fix' a non-working heating cable? Not me. If their cable doesn't work after 3 months, I don't want to risk burning my house down trying to "fix" the faulty cable. It's kind of BS. Of course I want to replace it, but I'll update this post once I get her decision. BAD I have to wait TWO MONTHS for them to repair/replace an apparently faulty heating cable just 3 months after purchase. It should be immediate, but that's not my company. Follow my update.
