Review on Cumbor 29.5-57" Mom'S Choice Award-Winning Baby Gate For Stairs & Doorways: Wide, Tall & Safe For Pets & Kids! by Carlos Henley

Not the safety gate for a human baby

This gate was super easy to install… but that’s the problem. I ordered this baby gate for our bluetick coonhound so she could go out with us on our apartment’s patio (we can’t completely close off the opening on our patio because it’s a fire hazard). There was the option to mount it with screws, but we couldn’t do that, so we opted for the tension option. I’m so glad that our dog is a scaredy-cat and wouldn’t even try to knock over or get through the gate because she easily could. The gate does not latch and the "tension” has little to no tension holding it up. It is held up by the sticky pads provided by the seller. It works for us, but if you have a human child rather than a fur baby, please invest in a sturdy gate!

Pros
  • Keeps the cats out.
Cons
  • The gate may be too heavy to move around easily
