Review on Delphi FG0324 Fuel Pump Module by Jacob Seymour

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Same as OEM.55 PSI as expected.

I needed to replace the pump assembly on my 2000 Tahoe. This block looks the same as the one installed after the OEM block failed. Works well so far, and replacing it has taught me a few things to share. The biggest problem was emptying the tank. These vehicles have an anti-siphon device so you can't just use a four foot garden hose and siphon. :-(. So put the rear wheels of the car on a set of ramps. Disconnect the 2" filler line from the filler tube and you can drain from there. To avoid many problems, you need to lower the rear of the tank about 15 cm high and reach across the front of the tank to the two fuel lines where they connect to the chassis, you can't see them but you can feel them on the driver's side just above the frame rails behind the filter (make sure to order and replace of the filter) press the tabs on the connectors and they (you didn't forget to use a fuel pressure gauge to relieve the pressure did you? I didn't.) then carefully lower the tank while using the clips.LOTS of info on YouTube so I'd watch some videos before you start Overall the pump works great, good value for money, well known brand pump (a few Thurs Saving for a cheaper pump is NOT the best idea. it takes a lot of effort, so get a good pump!) Clean the tank, put in a new filter and be safe. Having a fire extinguisher nearby is a good idea just in case.

Pros
  • Good Value
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
