I used this item on my grandmother's walker. Once the holder was fully tightened to the walker the plastic twist wouldn't fold down. It folded fine when it wasn't fully tightened. I messed with it so much that I the plastic twist ended up breaking and I used a wrench to fully tighten it. The screw pops out the other side when it is fully tightened so you have to make sure to position it the right way or it will scratch when a person sits in the walker chair. Once I got everything settled I was happy with the position and the size water bottle that it would hold. We will see how it does long term
