I ordered this product to repair an LCD TV that had part of the last polarizing layer torn off (solid white instead of what was expected picture). The gap was about 1/4" x 7.5" so I ordered this sheet in 6" x 8" to secure it in one piece. Unfortunately, the required film orientation for the job meant the short side (6 inches) was what I needed for the long side of the tear (7.5 inches). This meant I had to use two pieces instead of one, but it still worked as expected. I used a small dab of glue to hold it in place. The image is still noticeably different when viewing solid colors, but seems to disappear in more complex scenes.
