Our 13 year old Samoyed dog has trouble getting up when she lies down on our tile floors. She became irrationally afraid of tiles and hid in the bedroom, where there is a carpet. I thought she wouldn't like wearing them on her back legs (we never needed them on her front legs) but they aren't a bother at all and work great! Now she stands up with the tiles without any problems. To the point where her confidence returned and she stopped being afraid of tiles. I just take them off her at night (most of the time she doesn't even wake up while I do) and then put them back on when she has a day when her legs hurt a lot. Two sets are also great for washing, as pets are pets and are great at making a mess. :)
