Although this belt pad is designed for pregnant women, it does not move the seat belt down over the stomach where the child rests , so that in the event of an impact there is still a significant risk of injury to the child. Not only does it soften the seat belt, but it also pulls it comfortably around the hips, keeping the child protected and the mother feeling comfortable but safe. My advice: skip the seat belt padding and use the equally affordable Dreambaby Bump Belt, grey.
