I can confirm this is OEM hardware on a 2014 Chevy Sonic. Living in Vegas, my air conditioner runs at full capacity 90% of the year. After owning the car for 20 months, I noticed a big drop in airflow from pulling into a parking lot. After the exchange, the difference is day and night. I definitely recommend this product as a regular skin care product. Checking the current filter is very easy, so take 5 minutes to drop the glove box. If the filter is gray, replace it. You'll appreciate all the $13 you spend on it.
