I've tried three of these trimmers over the past few years. No, I don't have thick nose hair, quite the opposite. But they all died in a short time. The latter died half a year later, Revane brought him back after a little fight. It was Wahl, a respected brand. When I changed the battery in the dial, the battery overheated and the battery label melted before I realized what happened. Bad juju. I think it's the goalkeeper. It uses TWO 1.5V batteries and the LED light really works and lights up my path (not like the last two trimmers I had). The added voltage is a plus, mainly for light. The device feels good in my hand. If it lasts longer than a few years, I'm satisfied. And this one was cheaper than the Wahl, which was of much lower quality.
