I saw a review that the instructions were in Japanese but they aren't, they are in Chinese. However, I use them for a one-time transfer of data for offline machines that are never used on the network, as the Chinese government is known for fixing bugs in products to communicate with their government. It's just cheaper to use them if you know the price and not allow them or the data on them to be used on a networked computer. Buy from a US company if you need data security. Knowing this, I saw an interesting message from a drive trying to access external ports on my non-networked computer as soon as I plugged it in.
