Acasis USB3 0 Portable External Desktop Review

I've brought over a dozen external or portable drives of all shapes and sizes. In terms of looks, this is one of the prettiest drives I've ever owned. The red metal is so bright. The white wire is special. Too bad these features aren't that important. Unfortunately it stopped working after a download. I hate giving a bad review but people need to be warned. Purchase this product only to store small files such as photos and documents. I bought it to store all my movies on it and this hard drive is terrible for that. The read/write is so bad that it's impossible to play a 1080p movie without constant buffering and skipping. I've formatted it 3 times so far. It works for a day and then becomes ridiculously fragmented and freezes. Spend a little more and don't waste your money on this POS drive.

I saw a review that the instructions were in Japanese but they aren't, they are in Chinese. However, I use them for a one-time transfer of data for offline machines that are never used on the network, as the Chinese government is known for fixing bugs in products to communicate with their government.
