My son is 11 and is between sizes. He prefers a more punk look and when I saw these at a great price I just couldn't help but buy them for him. They got here quickly and gave them a lot which gave them a direct look but was very comfortable for my son. Maybe even more like jegging. The only downside (and it was my fault for not looking up) is that they don't adjust at the waist like a lot of other kids pants these days. I had to go and get him a belt.
