Disappointed with the peeling of paint on paper

Try as I might, I couldn't even get a clean, full stroke on a 12-inch (NOT 140lb) piece of watercolor paper with this large brush when applying the fill. Even loaded as much as I could, no matter how wet it was, and at any speed, even crawling, and at any angle, it left dry brush marks by the time I was 2/3 of the way I didn't buy it Only suitable for dry brushing. For example I have and use six other Silver Brush Black Velvets so I was surprised and disappointed that I returned this one.
