The product was fairly easy to install - the package included an installation video which was only partially accurate as the watch was different from my model and the manual mentioned a tool that wasn't was in the package. However, Garmin has designed the stock strap to be easy to remove and not that difficult to reattach. The strap is definitely comfortable, but after it gets wet it takes a while to dry. If you have small wrists (like me) you can definitely use this strap without putting an extra strap on the watch face.
