I'm writing a review to let people know that due to the 1080p PC spec, if you use your devices through them your TV won't be requesting 4k from the source. If you're caught between a TV and a Firestick, for example, you're limited to 1080p quality even through a 4k HDMI output. I can't get YouTube or Netflix or whatever to play 4k with it, only 1080p. Delete it and suddenly everything is playing in 4k again. I'm adding a local downscaling HDMI splitter that allows simultaneous 4k and 1080p playback to play 4k videos on the TV if they're recorded at 1080p. This shouldn't be advertised as 4k as it would mislead you into thinking it doesn't work the way it actually does. I'm sure if you could force a 4k signal through it would work, but most devices work differently.
