I sleep better at night knowing that if my drain pipe ever gets clogged, this will turn off my HVAC unit.
Depending on where your secondary exhaust valve is located, like me, you may need to purchase 3/4 inch fittings for the installation. If you're lucky, you can mount it directly to the block with no additional parts. It took a while to figure out the electrical connection, but all you have to do is find the red thermostat wires going in and out of your HVAC unit and connect a black wire to a red wire , which leads to your home's thermostat. and the other to the secondary red wire. I watched the installation video on YouTube and called Rectorseal's engineering department and everything was set.
