Review on Modern Cognac Brown Faux Leather Accent Chair With Wooden Frame By Pulaski, 25.38" X 28.0" X 30.5 by Eric Hartman

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great, but only lasts for about 12-18 months with regular use.

This is the third one of these chairs I’ve purchased. I originally chose it because I have petite legs and the seat depth doesn’t swallow me up like so many other chairs. I also wanted one that had springs in the seat cushion because the foam on lower priced chairs tends to lose support pretty quickly with regular use.My only complaint about this chair is that the cushioning only lasts about a year to a year and a half and then I have to repurchase a whole new chair. Keep in mind that I’m quite lightweight and despite that, I know when it’s time to replace the chair because I end up with low back pain and bottom out and hit the springs when I sit. It’s a lower priced chair that’s comfortable and looks nice, so I keep repurchasing since more expensive options are outside my budget at the moment.Would love to see a light/natural wood color offered. I actually sanded the legs and arms on the first one I bought and it looks amazing, so now I just attach the new cushions to the older sanded frame.Tip: If you end up replacing your chair as I have, if the old one still looks fine (mine always have) consider giving the old one away via a local buy nothing group. Despite loss of cushioning, they’re still great for staging homes or someone who just needs to fill space with only brief sits.

Pros
  • Faux leather is easy to clean and maintain, making it great for accidental spills or stains
Cons
  • The chair may not have enough cushioning for prolonged sitting
