Review on Pirelli Ice Zero 205/60 R16 96T winter by Stanislaw Sipko ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The product is good, there are only a few minor flaws.

This rubber was the most profitable in terms of price and brand when it was sold in a radius of 17. The noise is a source of contention for many. There is something that can serve as a comparison. I used to have a gislaved Nordfrost5 installed on a Volkswagen Golf. The decibel level of the noise ranged from 85 to 89 when the vehicle was traveling at 70–90 kilometers per hour. using a sound level meter that was installed on the mobile device. This tire is designed to fit an Audi A3 vehicle. And the indicators that correspond to such a speed oscillate between 89 and 95 dB. When the radio is playing, the level of noise is not something that is very noticeable to me. I cannot say that it is directly very noisy. The performance of the tires on a street that is not covered in snow is what worries me the most. The car has poor stopping ability, and it appears that the distance needed to come to a complete stop has greatly risen. It is especially noticeable when a moderately firm pressure is applied to the brake pedal. In corners at speeds greater than 30 kilometers per hour, it rolls off the trajectory, despite the fact that in the summer I entered it peacefully at 60. It is difficult to say anything further while there is no snow on the ground. On the other hand, I was persuaded this time that non-studded tires are probably more appropriate for Hong Kong, unless of course there are any surprises from public utilities.

Pros
  • The price has been mentioned thus far.
Cons
  • On dry pavement, noise and "behavior" can be expected.
