This review was intended to be informative and non-destructive based on my initial zero weather testing over two nights in white. First of all, I want to say that this stove works in cold, cold weather. How it works is another story. Mounting on the surface is your first task. The hose is so stiff that the flashlight won't stay straight no matter what you do. So the next step is to open the valve to allow some fuel to get into the bowl below. I used pure gas. The ignition must heat up the furnace for the liquid to turn into a gas. That's damn dangerous! big fire, like everywhere. and since the stove cannot stand up straight, the fuel will spurt out and now you have to put out the fire on the ground. Now that this fire (which can be up to two feet high) is almost out, turn on the stove and the blue flame is good. So you're melting snow/boiling water, right? It's good if your water bottles are somewhere near this flame. You get a taste of diesel, so watch out for that. Okay, now you're ready to put that thing away, right? Get gloves because the soot on that thing gets on everything. When you take the bottle off the stove, gas will come out everywhere. What a mess and also a danger!. Overall, I do NOT recommend this product. Get another oil stove (like the Coleman Sportster) that doesn't have these problems.
