🔥 Enhanced MSR WhisperLite: Universal Canister and Liquid Fuel Stove Review

bought this after a problem with my MSR EGK II stove. This one is way better because you can use any fuel, including canister fuel. If you are torn between EGK and this stove I would recommend this one, EGK is great but this one is way better.

The oven is an amazing thing. I took it with me on a backpacking trip a few months ago. I carried a 20 oz. Bottle of white gas with me. After 3 days of cooking a meal for three, I still had fuel left. I've only used it with white gas so far. Replacing the hardware was very easy. First, I watched a few videos on YouTube. I have owned this workhorse stove for several months. As others have said over and over in many reviews. By changing attachments, these filaments can be removed fairly quickly. I like to extend life by using my OCD skills to never misalign the threads and I put a small drop of oil on the threads to help them come out of the tool clean. If you are looking for an oven that is suitable for all seasons, this is a good solution. Liquid for deep winters, an inverted canister for the off-season, and a removed canister for the ability to use a windshield with a canister airflow protrusion.
