This is the third radio of this model that I buy. Previously, the first generations with 2 operating power ranges (1 and 8 watts) were purchased. One of the walkie-talkies, after 4 years, began to receive worse. You can poke around in it, but the time spent will be great. It's cheaper to buy a new one)) Moreover, 3 power ranges are a plus for my operating scenarios. That's just upset that the radio was cheaper. I didn’t take it apart and I can’t say how much it affected the filling, but external factors are obvious. The quality of the olives has changed and the case with the battery no longer has such a tight fit (in the rain this can play a cruel joke, even though the radio contacts are rubberized). The photo shows a gap. The volume control is also cheaper (new on the left, old on the right) I am satisfied with the walkie-talkie itself, but such trifles spoil the overall impression. How long this radio will last - we'll see
