Heavy Check. I love these mills. The capacity is perfect. The aesthetics are wonderful. A simple, no-frills design is exactly what I'm looking for. However. it went like this for two years. I think the peppercorns are too hard for the kind of plastic they made these grinders out of as you can see in the picture. If this part were cast aluminum they would be almost as affordable and would have a long lifespan. If you're comfortable with the throwaway culture we live in then they're perfect for you, but chances are you won't be able to find them in any antique store and pass them on to your kids.
