These disposable shorts are only good for short term wear so don't wait to wash and reuse to save money. Although they are well made, they will definitely start tearing during washing/drying. They are thin and sheer, so they should not be worn as outerwear unless you have additional underwear. They are large, with thin but well-cut elastics. My husband is a 38 waist and they fit great. Depending on the torso, there are some folds between the thighs. They enclose half the thigh, so no big riders. Overall a comfortable fit and a good option if you need/want alternative shorts. Just don't expect much from this simple product. It serves its purpose to outlive you.
