Review on Starrett KTXP106 5M N Measuring Graduation Interval by Kirk Womack

I wanted to like this tape measure. It feels good in hand and the lock controls feel solid. However, this is all good. I have a very precise scale and at 30mm the tape is already offset by 1mm. This error has something to do with the hook as it doesn't match the inside and outside measurements. This doesn't make much of a difference for rough measurements, but the purpose of this tape was to provide very high accuracy for fine carpentry work. Unfortunately, this roulette does not work in this regard. It stays in the box for rough measurements, but unfortunately it's not what I was hoping for from Starrett.
