I have installed 4 barn doors in the last two years. So I have a pretty good idea of what's good and what's not. All of these installations were done using Home Depot kits. The overall quality is excellent, with the exception of the two-piece rail. The rail cannot be held together during assembly. There is no way to twist the two rails together prior to installation. So you end up installing the first section and then the second section, which can cause alignment issues for the entire guide. I would advise staying away from rails that are not solid. Second, the instructions are poorly written and do not specify drill bit size(s) and screw head sizes, and rely on convoluted charts to indicate direction for critical measurements. . Finally, the rail locking screws are of poor quality and can be easily removed.
