The new brown socks are shorter than the previously purchased green socks

I bought these green socks about a month ago. I liked the fit on my calves so much that I bought these brown socks. The new brown socks don't stay on my calves and don't slip down. I sent the seller a question about another landing but never got a response from him. I would send them back but I've already washed half of them. Really disappointed.
