I bought this set of two to host an escape competition with my kids for Valentine's Day. This is the first of two castles. I followed the instructions (although I had recently done it for the three locks on our car's roof rack) and got my combo set. Block closed, put combination in my google doc, tested and confirmed it works. I moved on to the second lock and set up the combo the same way. Closed with no problem. I wrote down the combination in Google Dock and tested it. Oh, it doesn't open. After much agony and trying standard combinations, I gave up. I replaced one of the locks on the car's roof so as not to overlook the crying baby. I locked all four locks on my tackle box and started having fun with the escape box. Three more locks of a different brand, everything fitted perfectly. However, the second of these locks did not work. I retried the combination I wrote down for both locks, tried the default combination, nothing. As a result I had to rip the plastic off the box as I don't have bolt cutters. Terrible castles, nothing terrible really. They stayed very well locked, just don't open them! Ruined my $20 tackle box for future games and my new 6 bolt fastener as shown in the picture.
