hmm I wrote a lot of my half-written review. Firstly, this toner worked with the Brother printer! You don't have to remove the original Brothers tag/chip for the printer to recognize it! That's half the cost of Brother branded toner! Before replacing the toner, my printer displays the message "Replace Toner" and I cannot print. After adding new toner this message disappeared, but the computer still tells me "out of ink". I thought I would have to change the label/chip from the original Brother toner as mentioned in the comments, but after clicking "replace toner" on the printer system everything worked! So, you can try this if you encounter any problem. 2. My printer instructions didn't mention shaking the toner for 5 seconds before installing it, but it says on the Amazon product page. So remember, do it. How many changes does he make? I have no idea. 3. As I just changed the ink I don't know about the durability of them. But I'm glad it works. I will comment later on how long this will take and adjust the rating accordingly.
