hmm I wrote a lot of my half-written review. Firstly, this toner worked with the Brother printer! You don't have to remove the original Brothers tag/chip for the printer to recognize it! That's half the cost of Brother branded toner! Before replacing the toner, my printer displays the message "Replace Toner" and I cannot print. I was concerned about using third party ink because of the chip Brother uses in their toner. The replacement toner worked fine for about 5 months, but now it no longer works. My printer no longer recognizes the chip and is prompting me to replace the toner. Conclusion: I have already bought these cartridges twice and will buy them again when the time comes.
