I have quite a few brands of pencils now and they are all different. I think this is my absolute favorite. They are creamy and lay pigment down better than any other brand I use. I don't like a real pencil in my hand. They're octagonal, I think, but don't hold me to that. They aren't round. They have a number on them but no color name. And the advice is all gold. So I spend some time making swatches alongside other colors. I have a diagram with pencils but I still can't tell how they fit together. Oh yes, the mix is perfect in my humble opinion. I can ignore the feel of the pens because of the fantastic color feel. You are like butter.
