As they say you have to work hard to fit these casters. In addition, it is aesthetically pleasing and appears to be very durable. I'm a tall man at 350 and so far it feels very secure and sturdy. Of course I'm only a few days old. It's hollowed out, so don't expect a solid piece. In any case, a single piece will be too heavy. The plastic I had before didn't let my chair roll well. It was 24 inches now 28 inches. Not sure about the difference in performance, but this one allows my chair to rotate much better. Yes, the big boy broke the plastic and fell to the ground. I wish I had a video because I'm sure it would be fun to watch as no one was hurt but my pride.
